The 1 thing you shouldn't be doing when you quit a job

I thought this should be a post by itself instead of combining it with the previous one

As much as you want to send out an email to everyone in the office on your last day of work saying that everyone sucks and you hate them and you never felt so good to leave a job, no, please don't burn bridges. This is what I've learnt in my 14 years in a niche industry.

As mentioned in my previous entry, my new manager was my ex colleague and I was his manager then. This is our 3rd time as colleagues in 3 different companies. First time we were team mates. 2nd time, I hired him. 3rd time, he hired me in a totally different industry. That's why they say networking is very important and 风水轮流转。

Don't burn bridges! You wouldn't know when you need to tap that contact in the future~

So you are no longer FIRE and go back to work?

    1. Hi there, technically I am not FIRE now, but since i have attained (FI), I can choose to (RE) or do the things I want to. Realtor is something that I always wanted to try out. So might as well do it now. Who knows? Maybe I can make a career out of it and still have the flexibility that I want.

  2. FIRE does not mean retire fully and seat down at the beach all days. FI.RE can also mean Financial Independence and Recreational Employment. Pursue something that you find meaning and with purpose.
